Your of taste of music!
So, I want you to write what music you like. Surely, this topic has been here before, but just to get us a little bit chatty an' that stuff, I will bring it up again! I'm mostly listening to Hardstyle, an EDM subgenre. It's kinda hard, cuz Hardrock is more widely accepted than EDM and people tend to hate all the EDM lovers, cuz they are "druggies, junkies" w/e. Lol I listen to a total mix of stuff my favourites include, Oasis, Green Day, DragonForce, Kaiser Chiefs, Rolling Stones, The Kinks. I'll pretty much listen to anything bar pop, R'n'B, Hip-Hop and rap

I mainly listen to heavy metal, bands like Lamb of God, Nile, Pantera, Metallica, Hate Eternal, Arch Enemy, Racer X etc. I've branched off into other bands too, like the Foo Fighters, Tool, and some Toronto local bands (I got hold of some CD's when I was over there), Johnny Cash, Tenacious D, Flogging Molly, random things like that. But if a band has a drummer like this and he plays this sort of stuff, then I am automatically a fan.

Metal and rock all the way

Well, my favourites at the moment are probably... Godsmack Metallica Disturbed Lamb of God Caliban System of a Down 11th Elimination (teehee) Korn Children of Bodom Killswitch Engage (In no particular order.)

Killswitch Engage - which I now have the whole discography of. Metallica - now a complete collection. Zakk Wylde - once again, every single song no matter how bad or good. Slayer - get it where I can... so no, only a few odd songs. Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage only unfortunately. And just about anything else that fits into that general genre. Thrash/Metal primarily, although a lot of more melodic metal is there (Zakk) and some of it is just insane (Dragonforce). Zakk Wylde - Lords of Destruction I've seen this song live at the Enmore in Sydney. It was fucking insane (seriously, the day after I didn't go to school because I couldn't hear shit. But I did choose to stand so close to the speakers that I could feel the wind, so I guess it's my own fault) Zakk Wylde - Destruction Overdrive Audio quality sucks but you can get the gist of the song from it. It's a live video too. Zakk Wylde - Spoke in the Wheel And example of the softer songs. My personal favourite song when I'm feeling down... usually followed up with tons of angry, angry people growling into microphones and playing music with its balls in its shoes. Remember - if you're angry at the world you're usually feeling less depressed.

I dare say that my musical taste differs from the masses. Mainly CMX. The band in question makes music only in finnish, but because of this their lyrics are quite unlike any other band on earth, they....oh just go read their last.fm page. I am too lazy to start reciting "stuff" in this state of mind (tired, not on drugs). Then there is (in no apparent order) Seal (Godly voice) Depeche Mode Ladytron Massive Attack The Cardigans and lots of small marginal finnish music.

Oasis, Red hot chili peppers, System of a down, Keane, Klaxons, The editors, Ian Brown, U2, Led Zeppelin (at the O2 ... so good.)

so glad the majority here like rock over r n b etc as for me, if its any type of rock, ranging from death metal to ska, i tend to like it
