Your favourite game awards!
Well... I'm bored; so i thought I'd make a little poll. In effect there are five categories: RTS (including RTTs) Shooters (both third and first person) RPG Arcade Other - this is basically any game that you really love to play that doesnt fit into any of these categories Simply say which game YOU think is the best in each category - this is not a contest about how many games theyve sold or whatever, it's purely about your opinion. And it doesn't have to be on PC either it can be from any platform you can think of. Soon (depending on how many people post) I will post the results! Have fun! My Choices: RTS: Age of Empires 2 Shooter: Call of Duty 4 (omfg its pwnz0rz) RPG: Guild Wars (purely because its the only one I play atm) Arcade: The Pokemon Gameboy Colour Series (up to and including Gold and Silver) Other: Runescape (shockingly bad but it managed to keep me entertained for nearly two years)

RTS : Age of Empire 2 Shooters : Call of Duty 4 RPG : Wow , only game i played Arcade : Will have to say Pokemon aswell :P Other : The Dynasty warriors games for PS2 I´t almost the same as Sherbet but well :P seems as we have the same taste

RTS : Emipre Earth. Shooters : Rainbow six vegas. RPG : Mass Effect. Arcade : Ohh, Pokemon 8) Other : Overlord. :twisted:

RTS: Command And Conquer Series Shooters: Halo series RPG: Star Wars Galaxies or Mass Effect Arcade: Pokemon all the way :P Other: Final Fantasy, VII-IX (I know they're RPG's but they still deserve to be there :D)

Oh and guys if you can think of any other categories that should be mentioned just say so and ill look into it. Good to see Pokemon reigning supreme once more! My IT lessons now are just full of playing pokemon on the emulator... brings back so many good memories. 8)

RTS: Theres so many. ATM I will strongly recommend Act of War. Great game, but unfortunatly very overseen. All the best from Red Alert, just shined up a bit ;) Shooters: Prolly go with the Battlefield series here.. RPG: Again, many. WoW ofcourse, but also Oblivion for its great graphs and NWN. First with all expansions was great. The second sucked. Mask of the Betrayer was great again ;P Arcade: Mario Kart to Nintendo DS. Baloon battle in multiplayer ftw! Other: EDIT: If overlord aint a RPG, then I'm on that ;).. "For da mastah! For you!.. He's the leader of the pack, hes the big daddy, heeeeees: THE OVERLOOORD!"

anything more definite for those categories so i can tell which game ur going for on all the subjects?

RTS (including RTTs): Medieval: Total War. (Nothing like seeing a legion of 2d sprites smashing into each other) Shooters: I'd have to say CoD4, at least for multiplayer, But i'm still in love with Crysis for singleplayer (Until Far Cry 2 comes out) RPG: FFVII, VIII and IX. Completed them 100%, loved them to bits. Arcade: Marvel Vs Capcom 2. 'Nuff said. Other: Assassin's Creed is in high esteem, an RPG, but still needed to be said.

Act of War is kinda an improvement of Red Alert. The 3rd of them will prolly be better though ;)

RTS : Star Craft Shooters : CSS RPG : Final Fantasy 8/WoW/Zelda link to the past/ocarina of time Arcade : Mario Kart on n64(me ownz u alls) Other : dunno any that doesnt fit into the others.. but can say erm Diablo 2 wich shud of been in a hack and slash but fits into RPG there you see, me owns u all in game taste!!!!!!! nah..not rly. but im gonna be rude and say im in beta! So i ownz u all anyways :D
