Recruitment Why is it that we are no longer recruiting people under 16?

I've had run-ins with annoying little shits before in gaming communities. The fact is, most people who act like dicks on the web are immature little arsebandits who've grown their first pubic hair and think they own the place. I'm not saying everyone under the age of sixteen is like this, but a sure way of making sure none of them gets in is putting an age limit. Don't worry, everyone who is under sixteen and is in already can still stay.
Plus, it really puts people off who want to join. When they read through apps and see "I'm 14. I'm 13. I'm 15" they'd think "Oh god, a guild full of little kiddies, fuck this". And last of all, maturity. In many forms. If we're conversing on the Vent, talking about stuff we don't want some high pitched voice to pipe up and say something stupid like "OMFG ALCOHOL SUXX LOLOL". *Cough* Griker *Cough*.
Trust me, it's for the best. As far as I'm concerned the guild can only benefit from this. We want to keep our reputation intact. We have a damn good reputation already and I will not let it be ruined by pre pubescant, angsty kids.
Over and out, captain.

I'm all for it tbh. On GW it really makes a massive difference to the atmosphere of a guild.
Best bit is that i turned 16 after joining to guild so its all good.
