Well, unbridled awesome in it's awesomest form of awesomeness. The new Dark Elf class the Dark Elf Sorceress has been unveiled. I quite like the whole 'Russian Roulette' thing going on. Makes for very interesting gameplay methinks. They have also announced that they are working on a new cinematic, which should be quite funky. For those of you who have not seen the first one here it is. (Great ending if you ask me :wink: ) Aside from little bits about Archmages, a zone overview of the Shadowlands, and a bit about the Tome of Knowledge, they mentioned something that made my ears prick up. Mounts! 'Greenskin Mount Boar Light' 'Greenskin Mount Boar Medium' 'Greenskin Mount Boar Heavy' 'Greenskin Mount Wolf Light' 'Greenskin Mount Wolf Medium' 'Greenskin Mount Wolf Heavy' I would assume that Orcs would ride the Boars and Goblins ride the Wolves. 'Dwarf Ale Powered Mount' Gotta love it xD 'Daemonic Steed Light' 'Daemonic Steed Medium' 'Daemonic Steed Heavy' 'Empire Horse Medium' 'High Elf Horse Light' 'High Elf Horse Medium' 'High Elf Horse Heavy' "Player Mounts are the primary form of free-roaming fast transport in WAR. Travel routes are great when you want to get from Point A to Point B, but nothing beats a trusty warhorse if you want to take a journey that is off the beaten path! Players will have a variety of options when it comes to choosing and using a mount, including unique mount types for each race and temporary “rental” mounts for low level players. However, you will have to be careful when riding you’re trusty steed across the battlefield. You definitely don’t want to be thrown from you’re horse because you tried to ride it into a lake. And you certainly don’t want to get shot off the back of you’re steed as you ride into battle. In future newsletters we will dive deeper into the mounts in WAR, including specifics on where you and you’re mount can travel and customization options your high level mounts!" Discuss.
