Well, what can I say? Having read the bio's so far, I gotta say that I feel OLD. When I read the description of the guild I was attracted to the concept of "mature" players - but I think mature in my case means elderly. I live in beautiful Cornwall (UK) just five miles from Lands End if you know the area. I am 38 (yes - 38) and somewhat in early and splendid retirement. I was playing Warhammer before many of you lot were born - so I do feel old. After 20 years of working, one child, one wife and now the good life, I found out about WAR. A keen rpg-er in my youth (the 1980's) I really enjoyed WHFRP when it followed on from WHFB, but life and work got in the way - now I have some more time to spare I am looking forward to wasting lots of it as a merciless mage :twisted: ... but I am somewhat concerned at the age difference - the guild is not as mature as I believed: perhaps I am too old for you young thrusters? Grandpa Simpson moi? For better or worse...

Well I think that only time will tell with your concern. Chances are, once the game is launched, we will be getting a bigger variety of folk, so Grandpa Lovejoy may not be hobbling along on his zimmerframe alone. :P I don't think you need to worry about the maturity and I don't think anyone here has a problem with older players. As long as everyone can cooperate and contribute with no problems, which I believe this guild can do, then it's fine. My two cents. And retirement at 38? Lucky you. :D
