Removing his helmet and placing it on the table in front of him, Tz'trom eyed the druchii sorceress who had addressed him so callously. "Way ahead of you on the seat taking there, toots," he jibed, rocking backwards on the chair, dirt falling from his boots onto the table. "My legs are killing me, but I guess walking through the wastes does that to you." Tz'trom's arrogance shone through like a beam of sun through parting clouds, he wasn't afraid of anyone in the room, and now that he had witnessed first hand the maddening realm of the Chaotic Abyss, he no longer feared Malifact. "So tell me, Mally," he smirked, "Just what did you get up to while I was on my little "trip"?" malice evident in his tone.

Malifact- 02-19-2008

Malifact laughed. A booming laugh with genuine humour in it that nevertheless cast an awkard light on the situation. "Everyone, I would like to introduce you to Tz'trom. I must say, despite your little adventure through the Realm of the Gods you have not changed a bit." Malifact said, his eyes fixed firmly on the new arrival. "Well, what can I say? I have a strong personality." Tz'trom laughed, casting his eyes around the room, gazing at everyone seated. Malifact saw the small Goblin peering around the corner and a smile spread across his face, hidden beneath the black canvas of his helm. "Come in, little Greenskin. It would seem that fate has guided you here too." The Goblin looked at Malifact with an air of bewilderment, but tottered in anyway. He hopped up onto a seat and leered at everyone suspiciously. "Goblin number two, eh?" Malifact mused to himself as he observed the Squig Herder telling his Squigs to be quiet. He turned to Tz'trom who was looking straight at him. His manner was confident and there was no fear in him. Dangerous traits. "Well Tz'trom, I have indeed been busy. All that you see here is "what I got up to". Now, how about you tell us of your doings? Or perhaps we can make those legs of yours literally kill you instead?" All the humour vanished from Malifact's voice and it was replaced with a hard and menacing tone.

the doors to the great hall was opened. a small green figure came in. he had a chain around his feet, he took him self a look at the people who had gathered. behind him came an ork. he had black armour a shield and in his right hand a huge axe. he took a look at all the ones who had gathered this day. All the eyes where on him now, he didnt say a word, he was just a bit confused because of all the chaos warriors, elves and the Orks who was there. He was used to get chalenged and attacked at sight by those who whore that kind of black mysterius armour so he where ready to fight if any one attacked him. he took a seat away a bit from the others laying his axe and shiled beside him, and giving the helmet to the Goblin who had followed him. He did not whant to seat to close to the others as he did not thrust them. He did not feel to frendly to this meeting. but still he had dessided to go to it.

"Well Tz'trom, I have indeed been busy. All that you see here is "what I got up to". Now, how about you tell us of your doings? Or perhaps we can make those legs of yours literally kill you instead?" A silence fell over the room, but was quickly shattered by the sound of Tz'trom's laughter. "Well now, where do I begin?" He dramatically tapped his temple as if trying to remember, "Ah, yes, Osiris' Bane," Struggling to breathe as the Bloodthirster squeezed the life out of him, Tz'trom had just about given up hope as they fell into the everlasting pit. "You're brave, young Norscan, but it will do you no good in here," the daemon taunted. The grip on him loosened and he looked up in question to it's face, which was rent apart. The daemon dissipated in a fog of blood and falling beside him was none other than Osiris himself. "My lord!" Tz'trom exclaimed. "Tz'trom, I'd recognise that face anywhere," he laughed and the ground formed up below them. "What is this place?" "My realm," The former Lord of Invicto said proudly "It manifests into whatever I will it," Tz'trom was speechless in awe. "We all thought you had perished," "I did, millions of times over, and so shall you" Osiris bellowed as he decapitated Tz'trom. "We fought for aeons, in the beginning, he killed me effortlessly, but eventually we became equals and in the end, i bested him," Malifact sat wordlessly in his chair. "I claimed victory and his realm, and I awoke in the Meadow of Khorne three new moons ago. I began my march south, and came across a warband," The sounds of screams and laughter drift across the air and reach his ears. Tz'trom smiles cruelly under his helmet and makes his way towards them. A host of Norscans, at least forty strong, is drinking and celebrating in their camp. "I had to test my new found power, so i slaughtered them all," he said, fingering the serrated edge of his axe idley, "it was just all too easy," Tz'trom removed his feet from the table and leant forward on his chair. "I also picked up this from Osiris, after i removed his head, which prevented me from just taking it," he said, pointing to the collar that sat tightly at his own neck. "A Collar of Khorne," he explained, "very handy against magic users, as all that power just dissolves when it touches me," Tz'trom eyed all the wielders of the Winds with a blank look, his eyes also drifting to the newly arrived Orc and his weapon, which he admired, it had an obvious cruelty about it, and didn't dance around that fact with pretty decorations. He leant back and replaced his feet on the table. "That's about it, after that, I arrived here- Oh, you may need new doormen, I seem to have disposed of them as well."

Malifact- 02-20-2008

"So why have you come running back, Tz'trom? I assume that you have surpassed Invicto Incarnate in every way possible? Have you not formed your own warband and conquered the world yet? My my, Tz'trom. You're getting slack." Malifact said, every word dripping with venom. "Yes, yes. Very amusing." Tz'trom said, waving the sarcasm aside. "Know this, Tz'trom: The Gods themselves may have guided your steps to this very room, but if you are of the assumption that you can waltz in here and undermine me then you are very much mistaken. Rest safe in the knowledge that I shall be watching your every move, reading your every thought. One wrong step and-" Malifact patted Mhelkon's severed head that still lay on the table. "-and you will be joining this unfortunate individual. And no, he is not dead. In body he is, but his soul belongs to me. It is chained to my bidding. He is a slave to my every thought and whim. I am not the simple warrior I was when Osiris was taken Tz'trom. I too have witnessed the glory of the Realm of the Gods. For eternities I travelled that place. Like driftwood floating in a sea of madness I wandered here and there, everywhere and nowhere. I have absorbed everything it could offer me and more. I am Sol Invictus, and you-" He said, pointing lazily at Tz'trom "-Are in my domain now. Heed this warning well." He finished, and then he lapsed back into his quiet contemplation. The entire room was plunged into an icy silence. The rest of the warriors looked on at the exchange between Tz'trom and Malifact with bated breath.

Blood.Thirster- 02-20-2008

Tz'trom clapped slowly, sarcasticly, and rose to his feet. He looked to the others with an awkward smile on his face, as if insisting they join the applause. "My, that was some speech, worthy of the Actors Guild in Altdorf," he spat, "Do not presume to think that this head will be joining your mantle so soon, Malifact. I did not come to undermine your authority, quite the opposite, infact." He took his place at the opposite end of the table, pulling the chair out and collapsed in it. "I've come to re-enforce your authority, to serve you in battle and continue the glory of Invicto Incarnate. It was Osiris' last request, yet I make this offer willingly, whether you choose to accept it, is up to you." He removed his axe from it's hoop and threw it on the table in front of Malifact. "I still seek glory, Malifact," he added.

Malifact- 02-20-2008

"Willingly or not, Tz'trom, you will serve Invicto or die. You unwittingly made that decision when you decided to come here. And I do not simply adress Tz'trom here, I speak to everyone in this room. Know that if you walk out of this fortress, it will be as a warrior of Invicto Incarnate. If you do not pass the test then you shall die. If you refuse to take the test, you shall die." Malifact said, icily. Tz'trom, he saw, simply rolled his eyes. "I know for a fact that each and every one of you do not have a clue what you have gotten yourselves into. Invicto Incarnate is not simply a Warband, a mere group of warriors. It is not even an ideal or some such nonsense. It is an entity. It is beyond mortal comprehension. To even try to verbalise it is folly and so I shall say no more. You shall understand what it is soon enough perhaps. All of you will be changed. You will be stronger in body and in mind. Invicto Incarnate will be in you." He siad, in a matter-of-fact way. "The person I deem the worthiest with be given this helm." He picked up the helm which came loose from the severed head. "It is a symbol of power. It belonged to the Chaos Warrior Mhelkon, of whom I spoke earlier. He was mighty in his day. In the Empire they called him the "Defiler" and in Ulthuan they called him "Mor Ore". He was favoured by the Gods, and I suspect anyone strong enough to withstand the helm's intensity would be favoured too. Our wait is nearly over. The Trials will begin soon."

"The person I deem the worthiest with be given this helm. It is a symbol of power. It belonged to the Chaos Warrior Mhelkon, of whom I spoke earlier. He was mighty in his day. He was favoured by the Gods, and I suspect anyone strong enough to withstand the helm's intensity would be favoured too. Our wait is nearly over. The Trials will begin soon." Upon hearing this Ragnarok thought hard on the possible benefits and ramifications of possessing the helm of Mhelkon. If he possessed it and succeeded in withstanding it then he would be further favoured not only by his patron God but by all of the Gods, but if he possessed it and failed then he would surely be destroyed. Despite this he knew that he wanted it and would give his all to possess it. Then addressing Malifact; "How many more are we waiting on?"

sebbzter- 02-20-2008

ye, who are we waitin for. the Ork said impatient.

Blood.Thirster- 02-20-2008

The tension suddenly changed, and the air was thick with it. Tz'trom cared little if he received the helmet of some bested warrior, or not, he would wait patiently for his chance to pillage the Empire once more. Who knew? Once he was done with Altdorf, he may even move on to the Slayer city, where it was rumored the Orcs were giving the Dwarves a hard time, or maybe he would lead troops to Ulthuan. The great name of Invicto would be feared through out the Old World and Tz'trom would be responsible for it's infamy. Every eye in the room was on the helmet, and Tz'trom's eyes were studying everyone else's. Greed, not one of them could deny their longing for it, for an opportunity to be Chosen by the Gods. There would be little chance that any of them would be able to withstand the torment they would go through once obtaining it. For a gift from the Chaos gods was a curse in disguise. Sure, now Tz'trom was mostly immune to magic, but he felt the constant presence of some creature of Khorne in the back of his mind, taunting him, threatening to break through unless he sedated it with Blood. "I was unaware that we would be having an excursion," he said, ignoring the previous questions of the lumbering Chosen and the Orc, "but I'm up for it." He fiddled with the plate armour on his right arm. "Don't suppose you have a vial of oil lying around? Rust finds me, even in the Wastes," Malifact grunted at Tz'trom's light mood. "Shall we begin or will we be waiting around all day for stragglers?"

Vashio- 02-21-2008

Vashio eyed everyone, his face was once again emotionless. As he looked at each individual, he could not stop pondering about the Trials. What would happen? Would he suceed? "Of, of course i'll suceed!" His voice echoed within him, "I am Vashio! I have bested many!" He grinned beneath his helmet silently. "Yes, when do we begin?" He asked, staring intently at Malifact, "I am. . . Eager to participate in the Trials."

The Sherbet- 02-21-2008

"I'z confuzed wat's dis trialz fingy? Ooz dis new chaoz umie? Whys wont me squigs shu'up? Why iz I 'ere? Ooz dis fat Orc boy?" Buzag thought it was time for a sit down. He tied up all his four squigs to the door handle and jumped on a chair promptly falling alseep.
