Caminus' Character(s) Caminus' RP ProfileName: Goes by 'Caminus Veritas' for the sake of paranoia.
Race/Gender: Semi-Human, Male.
Age: Actual age is somewhere at 90, looks about 25.
Height/Build: About six foot four, wiry build.
Hair & Eyes: Hair is a dark brown, almost black. His eyes are covered by a black bandana, and he can still see well. The bandana carries an enchantment, he got it from a magus, to protect his eyes.
Physical Description: He is thin, but muscular. He has the refined cheekbones of an elf, but he is definitely human. Underneath the bandana, one eye is yet covered by a metal plate attached to his skull, which yet covers an empty eye socket.
He stands a small way off, as if separated from his group, and his right hand rests on his hip. When not using it, his left arm hangs limp.
He wears a leather tunic with a left sleeve but no right, a cotton shirt and pants, leather boots and the bandana is set under his hair, which is a foot long and runs under his tunic.
Career/Skills: Caminus is a mercenary - he is willing to work for anyone, doing any job, from guarding a caravan to murder. He is ambidextrous, and skilled in the use of most blades. He is accurate with throwing knives.
Weapons: He carries a dagger in his belt, with a longsword on his back. He has a small rack of three throwing knives on his right wrist, and more are kept in a leather belt wrapped around his torso, under his shirt but over his armour.
The longsword has a silver gilded hilt, and it has serrations on one side, and two blood grooves twining around each other in a double helix from the tip down.
He also has iron knuckles on his left hand, the middle finger knuckle of these runs to a tip which he can load with poisons (often an anesthetic and a sleeping draught).
Armor: Steel ringmail under his shirt, and a small iron plate over is left shoulder.
Other Equipment: Carries lockpicks, and a poison making kit, plus a large number of small vials and little boxes in the bottom of his pack.
Personality: Caminus is paranoid and insecure. He hides his feelings from most everyone, and is almost blindly obedient to anyone he deems his owner.
For a time in his childhood, he was 'owned' by a Dark Elf, and this semi-slave behavior is almost hard coded into his mind.
Background:
Caminus was born in Mordheim, to two ordinary people. He was trained as a trapper by his father, and learned to sew pelts into clothing. When the Comet hit, he fled from Mordheim, trapping animals for food right up to the border of Kislev.
Right on the border of Kislev and the Empire, he was captured by a Dark Elf named Kinel. Kinel was fair and nice enough (for a Dark Elf) and raised and trained him for four years, then attempted to use him in a ritual to Slaanesh.
Kinel was killed in the ritual, and Caminus was left scarred both physically and mentally by the demons that appeared.
Since then, he has lived in and out of almost every city in the Empire, murdered several noblemen, fought in a war, massacred a farming town, met with Wood Elves within the forest of Loren, and generally seen and done just about everything.
Religion: Caminus is a disciple of Slaanesh. Well, it's closer to 'his soul belongs to Slaanesh' - he sold it to survive the ritual.
Goals: When he is commisioned, his goal is whatever was set for him. Any other time, his goal is simply to survive. At this time, his goal is to find out what, or who, is the nagging voice in his mind.
Caminus knows about magic, and has about thirteen different ways to stop you from casting any, four of which involve killing you. The other nine are merely ways to start killing you.

Name : Khain
Age : Unknown
Height : 5'9"
Features : His entire body is swathed in black silk, underneath this is a set of thin yet strong mesh armor coated in magical runes.
Weapons : On his right hand is a thick red gauntlet, which is imbued by Khaine himself to control the blood of any deceased, inherently non-magical entity - although Human mages with their 'stolen' magic seem to be exempt from the 'deceased' rule. On his back is a thick-bodied black bow with glowing red runes up the front of it. It has no string. Also on his back is a black quiver, containing arrows soaked in blood, that he may control their flight (to an extent).
Equipment : Runic Scale Armour, dark silk clothing over it to conceal its nature. At his waist is a flask with a live vine on it, upon which is a single blooming flower. The blood contained in this flask is used as a disk, to transport himself upon, and to raise himself above the combat. The armor is magic-conductive, both boosting the power of his gauntlet and making him incredibly vulnerable to any form of arcane art.
History : At birth, Khain was chosen to become a host body in an attempt to resurrect Khaine himself into the physical realm. When he had come of age at 23 years, the ritual failed and Khain was thrown into the Chaos Wastes, and taken on as a slave for a further 21. Having been obedient in all his time there, only ever once disobeying a single order, he was released but stayed with this small warhost where he learned archery from the few mercenaries there. Later in his life he left this place, returning to Naggarond and being captured, tortured for several years and finally, he died. His corpse was thrown back into the wastes, where it lay for several months yet never rotted. Then, one night, he was reported seen once again in Naggarond. A regiment of Black Guard was sent to investigate and come the next morning, that regiment of Black Guard had nothing to report except "It was Khaine. It was Khaine himself."
They were apparently killed for their insolence. That same day, not only rumors spread but others reported having seen Khaine in physical form. The two remaining sorceresses who had performed the ritual - the third having been his mother, and had been sacrificed to complete it - were found dead. No magic had been cast, and no wounds were inflicted upon their bodies, yet there was not a single drop of blood in either one, as should have been the outcome of the ritual.
It had been completed, but the mistakes were irreversible - Part of Khaine was infused not into Khain himself but into the gauntlet he wore.
Khain was eventually afflicted by dreams, in which Khaine (oh god this is getting confusing, who am I!?) advises him to seek out the Invicto Incarnate. There, he is told, he will find a true place where he can put his quite considerable talents to use. For months, he searched, every night plagued by dreams from his gods, often both at once - Khaine and Khorne being his patron deities - until he finally found that mountain.
This then picks up onto the other RP here.
